Paper Strip Manivelle Movement Details
By Michael Bean

This weekend I visited the Morris Museum in Morristown, New Jersey.
They have a wonderful collection of music machines and automata,
and one exhibit in which you could punch your own music strips and
run them through a Kikkerland Paper Strip Music Box.

I am curious how the holes translate into picking the tines of the
music box, but I couldn't figure it out by looking at the device and
I can't find any information online. I'm hoping someone can briefly
explain the mechanics, or direct me to an online resource. Thank you!
