A recent acquisition included an original Ampichron installation,
complete except for the clock movement itself.  Knowing full well the
relative pros and cons of these gimmicks, I would rather put it back
together (even if it is with a reproduction clock) and perhaps never
use it, than to have to repair the open mounting hole in the panel.
