Greetings All,  I am wondering if there are any readers out there
who can shed further light on the Welte accompaniment rolls that were
produced in Poughkeepsie sometime between 1915 and 1916.

Specifically, I'm seeking any information about the device that kept
the piano roll and the phonograph record synchronized.  Was one ever
made, does one survive, photos, a description of the device (other than
the patents issued to Heinrich Burkhard & Edwin Welte; of which I have
copies)?

Does anyone have any of the records issued for the endeavor?  They would
likely be the flat 1/4-inch-thick [Edison] Diamond Disc type records.

I have located several of the rolls, but here the mystery begins...
