I am happy to learn from the MMD postings of Julian Dyer and
Richard Stibbons that there is renewed interest in the Angeles
Artrio reproducing piano!  There are still a few restored Artrio
pianos here in the USA that are playing well, and I am fortunate
to have one of them.

The only information I have on the operation of the expression
system comes from a pamphlet issued by the Hallet & Davis Piano
Company and reprinted by the Vestal Press in the 1960's.  The
title is "The Angelus Reproducing Piano, Its Care and Adjustment".

I sent Julian and Richard the pages explaining the expression
system.  It includes diagrams and is too long to include here, but
if anyone else would like a copy, I will send it to you as an
email attachment.
