Seek Auto-Namic Reproducing Attachment
By Luke Myers

Some weeks ago I obtained a 1961 copy of "Player Piano Treasury" from
a local antique mall. On page 221, lower left, is a black-and-white
ad describing a device called the "Auto-Namic" which, as the ad states,
"turns any player-piano into a reproducing piano at a very small cost."

The ad goes on to say a number of other nice things about the device.
This device was manufactured by the Clark Pneumatic Action Co., which
most likely was affiliated with the whole Melville Clark player piano
establishment.

My question is, does anyone know of one, or possibly have one that they
would sell? I am willing on going up to $120 for one of these, should
one show up or be found stashed away "in Grandma's attic." If anyone
has one, let me know promptly and you will get a prompt reply.

 [ Found in "Music Trades", Volume 62, Dec. 11, 1921, page 11:
[ "The Auto-Namic, the company claims, governs and changes air
[ tension with one pneumatic and has but one moving part, has no
[ change of spring tension, and is installable in any player piano."
