Dear Mechanical Music Digest Readers, I am new to Mechanical Music Digest and have acquired and repaired several player pianos in this last year for personal use. I recently received a 1920s Norris and Hyde Air-O-Player which has a metal valve stack and valve system. I am missing about 10 valves (1-5 and 84-88). The valves were die cast by H. H. Franklin Manufacturing in Syracuse New York. It looks like these must have been intentionally removed and salvaged when the piano was restored in the mid-1980s. I am looking for these valves and also the quick change valve inserts that go into these. Any help that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
