Seek Photo of Farrand Cecilian 65/88-note Player
By Jon Shallop

One of my ancestors, Edward Ivor McCray from Pennsylvania, was a mining
engineer who moved to Australia in 1891. He lived in Mosman which is
across the bay from Sydney. He returned to the US and arrived in San
Francisco in June 1929. Among the items that were sold from his hone
was a player piano purchased from your company. The sale of the piano
was advertised in the Sydney Morning Herald, 4 Sept. 1920, as follows:

VALUABLE COMBINATION PLAYER PIANO 65 and 88 notes.
  IN MISSION QUARTERED OAK.
  BY FARRAND CECILIAN, DETROIT.
A magnificent instrument, is very beautiful.

Could you direct me to an image of this piano? It is probably in
a home somewhere in Sydney or Mosman, Australia.
