A 'Recital Club' has appeared in Eugene, Oregon, where participants
are invited to share their vocal skills and selections with the
community; a great variety of musical styles are performed.

As it turns out, the ones I like to perform are novelty tunes from the
previous century.  They are virtually all songs I first heard on piano
roll.  However, to suit protocol it is preferred to have sheet music
to hand to the pianist.

The problem: When you can find sheet music for the piece you'd like
to perform, it lacks the embellishments heard on the piano roll, as
the sheet music market generally has easy playability as a primary goal.

The question: Is anyone aware of any attempt having been made to
provide for a device which reads a piano roll and prints out some kind
of tablature musical score a pianist could read?  It doesn't seem
likely anyone has to date; it would be a very difficult task, but not
at all beyond the borders of possibility these days, I don't think.

Otherwise, if anyone has sheet music for "How Ya Gonna Stop Their
Petting Parties" or "The Village Blacksmith Owns the Village Now" that
they might part with for an appropriate fee, I should be very pleased
to hear from them!
