Greetings to the list and Happy New Year.  I have been contacted by
someone in Northeastern Connecticut who is clearing out their parents'
home and the last item is a Knabe Ampico Model A grand piano.  It looks
to be in original condition.

The cabinet is plain but looks clean and unrestored.  It also appears
to have an original Ampico roll cabinet with about 30 or so original
Ampico rolls.  I can provide photos if any one is interested.  I live
about 40 miles from the piano location.

I am sure the price would be very reasonable.  I told them the reality
of market conditions, as I am called frequently with this scenario.
I can arrange moving and local storage if anyone needs that to help
facilitate a purchase.  I must admit, I am tired of taking pianos to
landfills.  Thanks very much.
