Dear fellow MMDers,  Disaster!  Woe is me.  Microsoft has just
installed the Windows 10 "Fall Creators Update" on my computer and
vanBasco's Karaoke Player (the MIDI file player used by thousands
of music lovers) has stopped working.  It opens but, on attempting
to play a file, it gives the message "Undefined external error".
The program doesn't crash as such; it just refuses to play a file.
I have tried all the different compatibility settings and options
provided by Windows with no success.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?  Has anyone discovered
a way to get it working again?
