For Sale: 1924 5'8" mahogany standard case Mason and Hamlin Ampico,
serial number AR 33089.  The reason for the sale is that I have
bought a restored one.

If I were going to keep this piano, I would do a full castor up
restoration; it deserves it.  The piano will hold tune.  As far as
I know the bridges and sounding board are fine.  It still has a crown
on the sounding board.  The piano will require refinishing, the key
tops will need to be replaced and the Ampico fully rebuilt.

I am most concerned about this piano going somewhere where it will get
restored as opposed to rotting away in a building.  We all know that
the piano market is in the dump but here is a chance to own one of the
best.

Asking price:  $2500.  Open to any and all offers.  I do not
want to have to pay to put it in storage.
