Each year we host hundreds of school kids to a free tour of
The Nethercutt Collection.  We take extra time with them on
the Mechanical Musical Instruments.  They come away from the
experience with a new sense of awwwwe.

 [ Kyle, thanks for sending this message.  I haven't been up to see
 [ The Nethercutt Collection in a long time.  I left with a sense of
 [ awe too!  Thanks for helping to plant the seeds of interest with
 [ the kids.  They can take a while to sprout.  I was exposed to
 [ mechanical music by a single visit to Svoboda's Nickelodeon Tavern
 [ in 1970.  It left quite an impression but my first involvement
 [ wasn't until six or eight years later, and not seriously until
 [ about 20 years ago.  I'm soooooo glad I had that first exposure!
