Everyone, I'm sadly announcing that collector Jim Krughoff (husband
of Sherrie Krughoff) of Downers Grove, Illinois, passed away on
February 20th, 2018.  Multiple contributors of his death include:
Marty Persky (head curator of the Sanfilippo collection), Robert Gilson
of Middleton, Wisconsin, and Matthew Jaro of Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Even though I personally have never ever visited the Krughoff's
collection and home in Downers Grove, I still am sad to hear of Jim's
passing.  It was such an unexpected yet shocking surprise to me when
I found out from the recent AMICA Bulletin which I've received today
and so with my heart of gold I say, "So long Jim, May heaven provide
you with all the best experiences and instruments your heart desires."
