Arranging Rolls for MIDI-controlled Perforator
By Steve Bentley

I would like to know how rolls are arranged -- 88-note or other types,
with or without the music score -- for perforating by a perforator
mechanically driven by "electronics". What is the degree of accuracy
in this process?

[ Steve, it sounds like you're speaking of the process at Play-Rite,
[ which is able to produce new music rolls for Wurlitzer band organs
[ from MIDI files supplied by arrangers. Perhaps Mikey Mills or
[ Andy Park can explain the process. The accuracy is scary -- all
[ your errors are faithfully reproduced! ;-) -- Robbie
