Repairing The Seeburg "L"
By Tom DeLay

I read George Bogatko's post with interest [180512 MMDigest].
I went through the same agony a couple months ago when I had to
remove the action. Getting the sustain stick back in place was
_the worst!_ Much swearing, planning and trying was involved.
I was so worn out by the experience I did not tune the unit as
the tuning is also a special experience.

I am convinced Seeburg had ulterior motives in naming the style L.
Here, we have all thought "L" stood for Lilliputian but I do not
believe it for a second. Seeburg knew this little piano would be
"L" to tune, "L" to service, "L" to regulate, and one "L" of a neat
little piano!
