Lot 27 at Thimbleby & Shortland Auctioneers (Reading, Berks, UK)
was a clean, tidy and mostly original 19-5/8" Polyphon model 105, sat
on an original but basic storebin base, the tone 'decidedly average',
yet it was the focus of an intense battle before selling on the hammer
for £14,500 GBP (approx. $20,000).
