Wurlitzer 165 in John Linnell's "State Songs"
By Andrew Lardieri

If you happen to listen to the songs entitled "New Hampshire"
and "Utah" on John Linnell of They Might Be Giants' solo album
entitled "State Songs", the band organ backing up John is none other
than Wurlitzer 165 (no. 3779) located at Glen Echo Park, Glen Echo,
Maryland, which as you all know is the only remaining authentic
Wurlitzer 165 with a carousel. The arrangements heard with the
singing are both graciously done by Bob Stuhmer.
