Recording Of My O-Roll Buildup Orchestrion
By George Bogatko

This is a recording of the "O" roll buildup orchestrion I got from
Durrell Armstrong way back in the early 2000s. It arrived barely able
to play Elvis Presley and sounding like ruptured crows. Now, after
lots of tender loving care and acquired knowledge, it sounds like a
"musical instrument."

Having acquired a Tascam "dp-32sd" multi track recorder, I pointed a
bunch of microphones at it playing a recut roll from Paul Gottschalk
-- and here's the result:

Listen soon -- I don't keep these things up very long. Have fun!

[ The first two tunes are "Titina" and "Sob Sister Sadie" so,
[ according to the O-roll rollography compiled by Rick Crandall,
[ the roll is Capitol O-744. Ref.
