The 2018 Wurlitzer 150 Roll Recutting Project
By Mikey Mills

It is with great pleasure that I present the 2018 Wurlitzer 150
Recutting Project, featuring 10 rolls that have never before been cut,
and many probably haven't been heard in 50 years!

These rolls come from Wurlitzer's early years, the earliest roll from
1916 and the latest from 1922. While a few rolls from this era have
been recut - these are seldom found compared to rolls from the late
1920s through the '40s. In my opinion, this early Wurlitzer music
features some of the best arranging across all American band organs.

One thing that makes this recutting project different than those done
in the past is that all of the music has been restored, thanks to MIDI
technology, to be free from wrong notes and tempo issues. Many hours
have been put into this process of making the music perfect -- exactly
as Wurlitzer's arrangers intended it!

Information on rolls, tune lists, and more can be found on my website:

Please contact me and claim your spot as soon as possible; two runs of
the project are planned but one is already almost sold out!
