The October issue of the "Carousel Organ", the journal of the Carousel
Organ Association of America (COAA), will feature a lead article by
Q. David Bowers (an interview) on Hathaway & Bowers, Inc.'s role in the
purchasing and marketing of band, fair and Dutch street organs as well
as the calliope for the mechanical music trade in the late 1960s through
the 1970s.

Also in this issue is a fantastic account of American music on the Dutch
Street Organ from 1900 to 1960.  This issue will be mailed to member's
