Kimball Electramatic and Other Organ Players
By Roger Anderson

Several years ago I had a Kimball Electramatic organ but I had only a
few Electramatic rolls. It would play QRS and other 88-note standard
rolls but they sounded choppy.

I discovered that if I played Ampico rolls on the Kimball, it sounded
much better. The note extensions punched into the Ampico rolls avoids
the choppy sounds encountered with 88-note rolls.

Tape the bass and treble tracker-bar holes to prevent the Ampico
expression holes from playing extraneous notes. Try it. It produces
very listenable music on the Kimball.
