Sorry it has taken me so long to post my thoughts; I've been a little
pre-occupied here with the Camp Fire in Butte County, Calif.

I had a situation where the stack wouldn't shut off and the tracking
mechanism insisted on tracking during re-roll.  The cut-off pouch
tested okay so I finally dropped the pump (ugh!) and found the wooden
seat for the air supply had become unglued from the box, so it wasn't
shutting off the air.

The repair took far less time than the R&R [remove & replace].  _Maybe_
this is your problem???
