Hello all.  I was wondering about discovering new instruments -- is
this practical in today's day and age?  Are there any undiscovered
instruments in America, or is it necessary to journey to Europe to
find new gems?  Is the probability of an finding an instrument too
low to make it [travel] worth while?

Any information is welcomed, as I have become really interested about
finding an instrument in its original location.
