Removing PVC-E Plastic Glue
By Allen Ford

I have a 1925 model L Steinway Duo-Art that was put together with
Player Piano Company [PPCo] plastic glue. The cloth on the back of
the stack that covers the valve chest has come loose. I will have to
remove the plastic glue from the wood before gluing new expression
cloth over the back of the stack.

I have tried to find it in the MMD Archives but has been frustrating.
I have found a lot of articles that say either the new materials do
not hold up or that they should not be used. What is the best wording
to find [articles on] how to remove the glue?
