Removing PVC-E Plastic Glue
By Kel Geiger

[ Ref. Allen Ford in 230701 MMDigest }

Several years ago I was presented with a player stack that
a home owner tried to rebuild. All the parts had copious amounts
of PPCo. No. 320 PVC glue. After trying several solvents, I tried
"Fantastik spray cleaner". I was amazed that it made easy cleanup
of the dried PVC.

I did a search and Fantastik is still available. I am unsure if
the formula is like the original* (Texise) as rights were sold to
Dow Chemical and currently it is an S.C. Johnson product.

*Has warning not to use on glass!
