It is with great sadness that I report the sudden and unexpected
death on May 13, 2023, in Marion, Ohio, of longtime mechanical music
enthusiast and all-around great guy, Mike Perry. He was 79.

I am sure many MMD readers, like me, considered Mike one of their
best friends and it was invariably a pleasure to talk with him at
length about my special interest which he shared, roller organs and
cobs, or to receive one of the many humorous or interesting emails
he forwarded regularly. He and his wife Linda were always warm and
welcoming hosts at their home in Marion and eager to travel to
mechanical music events to visit with friends.
