Hi all, It is with a heavy heart I send this e-mail out. I found out
this morning that our friend, Bob Berkman, has passed. He died this
morning at about 1:00 am EDT in the Hospice Care Center in Cheektowaga,
New York. He was there for about two weeks. He had a cancer that had
spread throughout his body.

I spoke with one of the staff who had seen him when he entered, and
she had said that he was very cheerful and had a very nice personality.
I did see him last week, and he recognized me and tried to talk to me,
but no words could be formed. Yesterday I went to see him, and he was
basically lying there with no movement.

'Tis a sad day.
