More years ago than I care to remember, I managed to buy several
hundred of the female portion of the snaps used on grand piano belly
cloths, from a tailoring shop, long ago out-of-business. Now, in need
of more, I'm finding that they are only sold in sets of male and female.

Not to be a chauvinist, but the male portions attached to the piano
rim almost never need to be replaced, and I _really_ am not interested
in paying for items I don't need and will never use. What are the
rebuilders among you doing for these? Anybody have any links for same?

Dritz is one company that makes these but I can only find distributors
for that company, not a corporate contact. I would be willing to buy
a large quantity (1000?) to help make them available if I can get to
a manufacturer. Anyone? Anyone?
