Old Vinyl Tubing Leaches Plasticiser
By Karl Juelg

I opened up the bottom of my Steck Half Duo-Art to adjust the control
rods when I found a sticky substance which had built up on some of the
vinyl tubes and the substance was slowly dripping onto the bottom of
the piano and the tubing was a bit stiff.

Does anyone have any ideas on why the tubing has become sticky?
