How to Build a Crank-organ

This video and the plans are certainly worth looking at for
amusement and reflection. We discussed this effort on the Busker
Organ Forum a short while ago. I can't find the link to our
comments at the moment.

The plans are for a book playing organ which plays the books
pneumatically using a very complicated tracker bar which requires
very precise work on four axes to construct. It has an impressive
but complex bellows design.

It uses a 29-note scale, so few arrangements are available and,
as far as we could find out, you will have to punch your own books.
But the plans are _free!_

Our conclusion was you are far better off building one of John
Smith's organs if you want to play music.
