How to Build a Crank-organ
By Gérard Dabonot

In response to Wallace Venable about the plans for a 27/29-note
organ and the music books available [240417 MMDigest], I think
everyone sees things in their own way.

The 27/29-note scale is a French scale and there are many arrangers
in France who produce for this scale. There are around 5000 titles
available, of course mostly French. Hundreds of users sing songs known
in France in the streets, thanks to his chromatic range in singing.
I have about 700 titles.

For my part, I can say the same thing when I encounter organs with
American scales; all the pieces are unknown to us and there are of
course very few French pieces available. I am therefore obliged to
make some well-known pieces here for the pleasure of buyers.

There are a lot of people making their own organs in France and
therefore a lot to see on the Internet.
