Toward the bottom of this email is a link to my web page regarding
MP3 to MIDI. There should be everything there you need, including
the Audio to MIDI program that I did not write plus a program that
I wrote together with Geoff Ward called "Improve". Documentation
is there explaining everything.

I get results from ranging from total garbage out (rare if you avoid
really horrible recordings or multi instrument pieces) to unbelievably
good. The raw results from the Audio to MIDI program have a variety of
problems that the "Improve" program attempts to fix. Most people are
satisfied using the default settings which were worked out during the
9 months that Geoff and I worked on "Improve".

Also I am offering the results of converting 7000 of my piano solo
recordings to MIDI using these programs. There is a link to that as
