I seek help to settle the manufacturing year of my 5-foot Steck
Duo-Art grand, serial number 69257.

It is what I call "late style", with features such as all controls
in the spool box, short lid stick, all top action attached to a full
width steel plate for ready removal, tubing run to bass and treble
ends with clip-on manifolds, miniaturised brass switches, and manual
expression via rotary discs operating via the accordions.

The Pierce Piano Atlas indicates around 1923. I would have expected
1929 or later. There is a near-identical piano near here in Southern
Australia with the nearby serial number 69284.
