Adding Natural Dynamics To Piano Roll Scans
By Piotr Barcz

Do you have a solenoid driven player piano and a ton of piano roll scans?
Are you bored with the piano roll scans playing with no dynamics and
sounding flat and mechanical?

Well, with the help of Sasaki Katzumasa, here's the solution to that
problem:
https://github.com/nai-kon/midihum_gui/releases/tag/Ver1.0.0

All you have to do is extract the zip file, run the program, select your
output folder, and select your midi files. A few seconds later, you've
got piano rolls with dynamics that actually sound decent.

Enjoy ladies and gentlemen! Make sure the starting midi velocity is closer
to 75 and not 80 because the results can be rather loud sometimes. Use
Frank Milne rolls for best results. I might mess with WIND and see if I
can auto code dynamics for standard rolls like Robert Barnes used to do,
just without the hassle of actually doing the dynamic decisions.
