I've been in touch with Matthew Caulfield's grandson, Miklo. Matthew
donated his collection of Wurlitzer Style 165 band organ rolls to
Seabreeze Park after the fire in 1994 that destroyed the carousel and
its original organ.

Miklo sent me some photos of the roll collection and a notice that
there will be an upcoming memorial for Matthew, probably in September.
Miklo wrote this to me:

"We stopped at Seabreeze today and spoke with Genevieve Norris. We are
tentatively looking at a date in September for a memorial at the park
for my grandfather. If you or anybody you know would like to attend let
me know or have them reach out to me via text or email."

I know Matthew had many friends here on the MMD. For SPAM management
purposes, I would prefer to not publish Miklo's contact information to
the Internet. If you would like to contact Miklo, please contact me or
Robbie and we'll put you in touch with Miklo.

P.S.: Two photos are attached. One is a plaque at Seabreeze acknowledging
the gift of the roll collection. The other is a photo of the collection
in a nice cabinet. A close examination of that photo shows a reflection
of the carousel lights at the center of the carousel. It's so fitting!
