Hello, my good friend Tom Iannucci and I paid a visit to the Dr. Floyd L. Moreland Carousel and its Wurlitzer 146-A in Seaside Heights yesterday. We spoke with the people who ran the carousel and with Chris Vaz, who is in charge of the carousel itself, about sending them a flash drive with our MIDI music that we produce for the Wurlitzer 150 scale. While we are still working out the bugs for how it will be done, it will most likely be a once- or twice-a-year trip to Seaside Heights to deliver and update the flash drive and record our songs. We learned that they switched from traditional paper music rolls to MIDI files for music 3 months ago. As you can hear in my videos, the bells are not currently working and are waiting for repair from Joe Hilferty. We got to go inside the carousel itself and look at the band organ's mechanics to figure out what type of flash drive the MIDI player takes so we can prepare a flashdrive to send over to Seaside Heights. Here are my videos of the carousel in its current state of June 2025. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2mfOMGaI8A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=444fS-KD__Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hGIc9NcXgM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAaic1LobPI Cassidy Juraniec New Jersey [ Dr. Floyd L.
