I was just a few years older than you (many decades ago) when
I restored my first player piano, a 1925 Leonard with Lester player
action. If your Lester player action is like mine, it has a unique
feature of the pouches being oval rather than round. There is someone
on eBay that had pre-cut pouches for that player action.

Good luck; it's a big project that is fun and full of new skills to
learn. At the end, you'll have the pleasure of playing your player
piano!
