Hello, yesterday my good friend Tom Iannucci and I paid a visit to
Storybook Land in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The purpose of our
visit was to visit the 1954 Allan Herschell carousel there; it played
recordings of Wurlitzer 153 music and Wurlitzer 165 music.

While we were there we found a Wurlitzer 103 which appeared to be in
working condition sitting in the fire truck garage. I have seen this
organ before and only guessed it was a Wurlitzer 105, but later on
I found out it was a Wurlitzer 103 and that Storybook Land purchased
it from Obnoxious Antiques after looking up band organs on their
website out of curiosity one time.

At the end of our visit to Storybook Land, Tom and I found one of the
owners at the gift shop. We asked her what the plans for the Wurlitzer
103 were. To our greatest surprise, she told us that the carousel will
eventually be housed in a pavillion which is planned to be built
within the next two years. She also told us that the Wurlitzer 103
will be housed in the pavillion too and will provide the carousels
music after it is complete.
