I seek a tubing diagram or data to complete my rebuild of a mid-1920s
Marque Ampico upright. It has no crescendos but a form of crescendo
operation using cutout blocks on the expression boxes, and various
connections on the cutout block on back of the spoolbox.

I lack enough data to understand the working of this crescendo system
and hence to complete the tubing. The scraps of remnant tubing were
not enough to solve the problem. In searching the MMD Archives I have
found only some general comments.

Also, the expression on-off switch on the bass side of the spool box
has been replaced by an Ampico modifying switch. How is the switch
connected? Does it simply provide an air signal to the unit valve
on the top of the cutout block, to cut off certain expression tubes
when playing 88-note rolls, much like an electric Ampico?
