The "Solo Apollo" expression mechanism features two separate pneumatic
actions, one to play the Accompaniment
and the other to play the melody or Solo part of the song. The
music roll is 15.25 inches wide,
punched at 9 holes per inch, for 134 channels total to control the
notes and expression.

This very early 88-note push-up player, discovered by Alan Turner of
Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada, plays music rolls 15.25 inches wide, punched 6 holes
per inch.
It also could play 65-note rolls of 11.25 inches wide, punched 6 holes
per inch.
