The MIDI Music Creation Process
By John A. Tuttle

Hi all,

Recently, I have started creating original MIDI music on the computer.
I'm about three hours into the process and I realize that the finished
product will take approximately forty hours at the present rate. My
question is; is this normal? I do have one advantage (or maybe it's a
disadvantage) in that I input the basic song using my MIDI keyboard.
I'm just curious about how long it normally takes to create a song
using the mouse. WHY? Frankly, Pandora wonders when I'm going to have
some time for her. Since joining then forum and getting AWE32, I've
spent most of my "free" time writing articles or composing/arranging
music and she is beginning to question me about the amount of time I'm
spending at the keyboard/computer.

Any Comments??? Suggestions???
