Mechanical Music Terminology
By John A. Tuttle

Hi David, I've tried very hard to educate people in the correct
terminologies utilized in the player piano field. However, I've
not yet compiled a 'list of terms'.

What I have done is link new or unfamiliar terms within my many pages
to definitions or explanations, usually on the same page. Spurred by
your letter in the MMD, I will try to find the time to create a
comprehensive list but it may take some time.

One of the problems with such a list is that a number of terms are not
universally agreed upon. So it could be awhile before even a good list
would prove universally useful.

I'll get the list started today.

Musically,

John A. Tuttle
