Bogs & Voight Player Piano
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, Bear with me on this one. Below is a letter from a roll
customer in Australia (Guerra John x8621 <Jguerra@citipower.com.au>).
He wrote:

I asked some questions and he replied:

With regards to the questions you posed on the player mechanism,
I provide the following: -

Q1. How many bellows does the air motor have?

Five

Q2. Is tracking system manual or pneumatic?

Pneumatic

Q3. Are there insignia's or stamps on the player mechanism?

Only thing I found was a number "3057"

Q4. Number of controls to left and right of keyboard centre?

Facing the keyboard and reading left to right (must hold lever in
position or push and hold button): lever - loud pedal; push button -
soft bass; push button - soft treble; lever - solo

Number of controls to right of keyboard centre?

Facing the keyboard and reading left to right: lever - tempo; push
button - silent; lever - re roll

Q5. Are there levers or switches in the spool box?

Lever - up position marking (An), down position marking (Ab). In the
down position the loud pedal is "on". In addition there is a radial arm
lever (moves in horizontal plane) in the bottom of the spool box. The
arm has 3 set positions either side of centre with markings of 1, 2, 3.
This appears to move a bar to which are attached the tubes that come
from the tracker bar.

If anyone can help identify this mechanism, please drop John and/or me
a line.

Thank you,

John A. Tuttle (john@player-care.com)
