Chickering Grand With Welte Licensee Player
By David Dewey

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hi, I am looking at a 5'4" Chickering grand, scale A, with a Welte
Licensee player in it. About the only thing that has been done to this
piano is a case refinishing, many, many decades ago, and the harp was
touched up, so I can't find any serial number. If I knew which strut
and where, maybe I could uncover the numbers with some careful fine

I don't think the Welte player was installed in Chickerings for very
long, so I am hoping maybe it can be dated by that alone. Thanks!
