Seek Test Roll for Oreste Orchestrion
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, Here's an update about the 'Oreste' orchestrion. Perhaps
a 'do-over' is in order. I received some more information from the
owner about the machine. Here's what he wrote:

"Orchestrion Jazzband, made in France in 1930 by C. Souribes from
Contrexéville, Vosges. It is an Oreste type of music instrument
I.E Music tools made by Oreste."

I've put together a webpage with all the information I now have.
It's at http://www.player-care.com/oreste.html

Like I said before, the owner is interested in finding out the scale
design, and he would also like to find a test roll.

Musically,
John A Tuttle
