Source of Flat Drive Belts
By Jim Quashnock

I have searched the MMD Archives and found little about flat
drive belts. I was hoping to obtain a spare flat power belt for
my fairground organ (about 2" wide and 12 feet diameter). The only
source I can find is McMaster-Carr, who wants $1.87 per inch for
a urethane belt of specified length. Stock belting material can
be ordered for a lot less, but the "welding kit" is over $700.

Are there any other sources out there where a person can order
"just one"? Or is there someone out there who has the supplies to
make custom belts as needed? Thanks.
