Re: Ads in the Digest (96.09.24)
By Dave Fowler

Dear Jody,

I, for one, would be very upset at having the want or for sale ads removed
from this service. I feel that this is the proper venue for collectors to
offer up instruments and parts which is much more timely and useful than the
classifieds in AMICA or MBSI because one can know of something that is
available the very same day as opposed to the two months that it may take
through either of those other publications. I feel it would be a disservice
to all subscribers here to withdraw the opportunity to offer items for sale
or to learn of such items for sale, and though I understand the concern about
this digest becoming a receptacle for a plethora of advertisements, I've been
on here for quite a while and have seen nothing of the sort happen thus far.
I also credit you with the discretion to discern when any one party begins
to take advantage of this very helpful and useful service.

Many Thanks, Dave Fowler
