Copyright of 1920's Advertising
By Sam Harris

A few years ago I was doing some research in the micro-film library on
NY Times player piano ads from 1915-1925. I copied many ad's and would
now like to scan then and have an ad's section at my sight, but I do
not want to have any copyright problems. The ads fall into a few
categories: piano stores, piano companies, roll companies etc.

Any suggestions about how I'm to go about researching the copyright
issues. Also I would like to add some current QRS music to my sight,
but again I'm not sure about the copyright issues.

I would appreciate any advice in this area from those of you who have
"been there done that".

Thanks,

Sam Harris
