Are Old Music Rolls Worth Preserving?

I don't think anyone has an *obligation* to preserve things they no
longer want to keep, but I do think it would be considerate of others who
may be interested in them, and future generations, to not "toss them
out."  If you can't sell them, at the very least donate them to the
Salvation Army, or give them to an antiques dealer; anything to give
someone else a chance at them.
