Discoveries Inside Mechanical Musical Instruments
By Dave Brown

We didn't find anything explosive, but what we did find had to do
with cats!

I bought my wife our first player from a couple that used it very
little since their children were grown. After bringing it home we
discovered that the old owner's cat was very lazy. Upon disassembly
we found cat food everywhere!!

An industrious mouse had hidden tons of it through out. It was
under the keybed and in every corner of the case, it was even packed
in between the pneumatics! What is it with mechanical music machines
and cats?
